I believe in the quirky each of us possess. Whether or not it is proudly displayed, it shapes us into identifiable people no matter the age. It makes our homes what they feel like when a person walks in the door, it plays into the colors we choose for our picture frames and curtains and phone cases, and ultimately, gives great meaning and purpose to our lives. Your people already know you by these things. You have a color palette and a smell and an energy that is just yours, I promise.

We learn early to shape-shift. It is marketed by the world and inside the checkout lane at the grocery store. Subconsciously, we learn to allow it.

These portraits are different because I encourage the quirky. Instead of asking you to be who I believe you to be in the photos I take, I read the rooms, your rooms, and meet you there to highlight it all the way I see it - a stranger made to only see the stuff that looks good, interesting, and fabulous - inside your spaces, but ultimately, inside you.
